Description
In a quaint village bordered by a dense, whispering forest, Micah, a kind-hearted but naive young villager, discovers that the annual Harvest Festival competitions, beloved by all, are secretly rigged by the wealthy merchant class to ensure only certain families ever win. This initial conflict sets the stage as Micah vows to uncover the truth and restore fairness. Micah’s quest to prove the corruption involves aligning with an unlikely group of allies, each with their own grievances against the festival’s injustices. Together, they gather evidence and learn more about the deep-seated corruption while Micah grows in courage and cunning. During the grand masquerade ball, just before the festival, Micah and their allies plan to expose the merchants. However, things go awry when Micah is captured by the merchant guards.
