Micah, a spirited young girl living in New Mexico, embarks on an adventure to find a legendary desert flower with her dog, Luna. When they find the flower entangled in thorns, Micah carefully frees it, learning a lesson about forgiveness and kindness. Upon returning home, Micah finds a note from her grandmother, who had to leave suddenly to help a friend. Alone in the house, Micah discovers a journal left by her grandmother, filled with secrets about the desert. Suddenly, a figure appears at the window. It’s Elias, an old friend of her grandmother’s, who tells her about her family’s deep connection with the desert. He gives her a small box that contains a crystalline shard, marking the start of her journey into the mysteries of the desert.
