Eight-year-old Micah, a friendly boy from a small Texas farm, begins his day feeling an adventure awaits. At the market, he meets a girl named Lily and helps her reach an apple. When a kite lands at their feet, they decide to return it to its owner. Following the direction of the kite and a distant melody, they arrive at a lively kite festival. The kite belongs to an elderly man who invites them to join the festival. As the day ends, they find an intricately carved box with a magical compass that points towards their true path. The elderly man tells them the compass will guide them to adventures beyond imagination. Micah and Lily’s adventure is just beginning.
