Description

On the first day of summer vacation, young Sam embarks on an adventure through his favorite place, Forest Park, in St. Louis. He and his friend Ben build a fort and then join some older kids in a game of soccer, learning about respect and inclusivity. The next day, Ben brings a treasure map he found in his grandfather’s attic, and they discover a box full of historical trinkets and notes under a bench, including a message encouraging them to continue the adventure. They also find a dog they name Rusty. On the third day, they find a spiral carving on a tree and a note that leads them to follow other spirals throughout the park. On the fourth day, they find a locket with a spiral and a picture of a girl by a tree. The locket leads them to a crystal orb on a stone pedestal that pulses with light when Sam touches it, signaling that their adventure is far from over.
