The map leads them to an ancient oak tree where they discover a wooden box containing trinkets and letters from previous explorers. Among the items, Beth finds a locket with a picture of two girls and an inscription about dreamers and explorers. They also find a book titled “The Chronicles of Whispering Hollow,” detailing stories of children who discovered the place over the years. The girls decide to return to Whispering Hollow, and as they leave the woods, they encounter a mysterious creature. The next day, Beth finds a note addressed to her and Mia encouraging them to trust their instincts and hinting at the forest’s magic.
