Description

Nine-year-old Scott, a curious and adventurous boy, and his parents embark on a summer adventure. They visit a place called Pirate’s Cove near their Californian home, where Scott discovers an old map and gold coins in a cave. The map leads the family to an ancient door set in a rock face. Inside, they find a tunnel leading to a chamber filled with artifacts from a long-lost civilization, including a second, dynamically shifting map. Despite the chamber showing signs of instability, they carefully retrieve the artifacts, particularly intrigued by the new map which indicates a location to the north. The story ends with the family preparing for their next adventure, guided by the second map.
