Description

Micah, a young boy living in Austin, befriends Oliver, a new kid in the neighborhood. They bond over building a pebble city and exploring their surroundings on bicycles. During their adventures, they encounter an elderly man who introduces them to the enchanting rhythm of his drum. The man cryptically hints at an unexpected journey, intriguing the boys. Later, they discover a hidden path leading to a carved box containing colorfully polished stones, each holding the power to transport them to different places or memories when touched. An elderly woman appears, warning them about the old magic in the stones and the irreversible journey each stone holds. The story ends with Micah contemplating which stone to choose, realizing his decision will change his life significantly.
