Description

A young boy named Greg and his friend, a squirrel named Nutty, live in a small village in Finland. One day, they stumble upon a magical pond in the forest, where they meet Elara, the fairy guardian of the forest. She tasks them with finding a lost magical amulet with the power to heal and bring peace. The amulet is hidden where “forgiveness is needed most.” Greg and Nutty find the amulet in an ancient oak tree, and upon touching it, Greg sees a vision of a man and a woman filled with sorrow and regret. They then meet Isolde, another guardian, who tells Greg that he must guide the couple towards forgiveness at the Heart of the Forest. Greg finds a golden key that he believes is connected to the couple’s past, and is warned by a mysterious watcher about the trials of forgiveness. The story ends as they continue their journey deeper into the forest.
